More than ever our church youth are bombarded with claims that make them doubt the trustworthiness of the Bible. But also, more than ever, the real evidence confirms the accuracy of scripture. The Bible is not only true on spiritual matters but is also historically and scientifically accurate. These series of talks are designed to introduce our youth to the vast evidence confirming the truth of scripture. All talks help the students build their faith that all scripture can be trusted from first verse to last; that the creator of the universe is also their Savior and Lord.

There is no charge for the talks. Free biblical science related booklets and other materials are provided for the youth to take home. As a follow-up, passes can be made available to take your group down to the Creation Museum. You can go on your own, or let Mark be your tour guide (minimal charge for travel expenses).

Most talks are designed for presenting over two consecutive youth group sessions. But are flexible to fit group needs. The whole series is designed to be presented a few at a time over a several year period, which can be repeated with each new generation of students.

Science and the Bible: Overview – Two talks showing that when the Bible touches on the sciences, it knows what it is talking about. Scientific evidence is in line with scripture, contrary to secular teaching. Paleontology, Astronomy, Biology, Archaeology, and others all reinforce Scripture rather than contradict it. One session focuses on the Global flood and the other on the creation of Life. Each talk is one half hour long.

Dinosaurs and the Bible – Two half hour talks showing where dinosaurs fit into scripture. The talks cover creatures directly mentioned in the Bible, how dinosaurs were on Noah’s ark, the growing evidence showing they died only thousands of years ago, and the extensive evidence showing they lived with man after the flood.

Astronomy and the Bible – The Bible has a lot to say about the heavens. And it reveals truths that modern science only figured out in the recent past. Learn about the many features of our solar system and beyond that defy evolutionary explanation. And learn promising theories that show the vast distances of the universe can fit into a Biblical timeline. Two half hour sessions.

Lies in the Textbooks – A pair of half hour talks pointing out many of the ‘icons’ of evolution taught in our school textbooks that have been proven false, but still show up in our texts.

Archaeology and the Bible – The Bible deals with a lot of history of Israel and the middle east. If these events were true, there should be evidence left behind ‘in the dirt’. This talk will introduce some of the vast evidence that has been uncovered through archaeology that time and time again proves the accuracy of the historical accounts in the Bible.

Unlocking the Mysteries of Genesis – “What if Science and faith point to the same truth?” A complete high-quality DVD series by the Institute for Creation Research (ICR). Composed of 12 sessions, each 22 minutes in length. Topics include Biology, the Global flood, Dinosaurs, the Ice Age, Astronomy, the rise of Civilization, and more. Each talk will be complemented with supplemental information by Mr. Jurkovich to fill a half hour to 45 minute session.
